I will be interested in how you used the mesh. I have sewn sleeves out of the mesh without lining, but made a self drafted top with a complementary coloured knit below the mesh bodice and it is one of my favorite tops--even though the mesh fabric was a wild orange/turquoise/white/black print! Fabricville's mesh is so soft on the skin.

I found the mesh fairly easy to work with, and used my serger for most of the construction. The feed teeth of my serger often cause the bottom layer of fabric to buckle under at the beginning of a seam, so a bit of 1/4-inch wide Steam a Seam solves that. I also used fusible thread in the upper looper of the serger so that I could baste the hem up of the Jalie Dolman before hemming it with the sewing machine. I hope that helps. There will be more details in the post I wrote for Fabricville, and I'll add a link when it becomes live.

I just answered the question on your post about what the print wanted to be as the dolman! I love that pattern. Which cardigan is that?

The cardigan is Jalie's Helene 3677, isn't it awesome?
